About Black River Builders

 The founder of Black River Builders, John Martin, began carpenter work in 1994 for his dad's general contracting business in the state of Pennsylvania. Ever since, he has been in the construction industry, building houses, doing interior finish work, and remodeling. In 2007, after moving to Rochester, WA several years earlier, John got his general contractor's license and began his own business. He named it "Black River Builders" because he lived beside the Black River in Gate, WA. Over the past 15+ years we have built up a strong customer base in Rochester, Grand Mound, Olympia and nearby areas. Our small team builds new structures like garages, shops, carports, decks, and even a few houses. We also provide exterior remodel services including siding, roofing, doors, and windows. We are pleased to be able to say that we are A+ rated and accredited by the Better Business Bureau and A+ rated by the Chamber of Commerce.
