As of January 2026, Black River Builders, will be changing to Armor Exteriors. The name is new, but the important things stay the same - the same family, the same crew, and the same standards you've trusted.
Why the change?
To specialize
Black River Builders has grown into a company that’s strongest when we stay focused on what protects a home long-term: siding, trim, roofing, windows, and exterior water management. Armor Exteriors makes that focus clear. It’s a cleaner, more specialized brand that allows us to communicate better, be more consistent, and continue serving our valued customers the very best we can.
Has ownership changed?
NO! We've done some back-end restructuring (getting an LLC) and changed the front end (name and logo) but you don't have to worry about customer service falling off a cliff because of an acquisition or internal struggles. In fact, we'll use this as an opportunity to improve a few things, such as prompt communication and making our process easy and stress-free. We have the same owners and the same values.
